Zell Miller unplugged.   This is Dave Ross on the CBS Radio Network.
The podium event of the night at the Republican Convention was the speech by Senator Zell Miller, Democrat turned anti-Democrat, who accused his party of being motivated by PARTISAN POLITICS.
TAPE: "Motivated more by partisan politics than by national security, today's Democratic leaders see America as an occupier, not a liberator.
And nothing makes this Marine madder than someone calling American troops occupiers rather than liberators."  :20
That really got the crowd going, but I just wanted to share with you a few quotes here that maybe Senator Miller wasn't aware of.

My only point here is that Senator Miller didn't go far enough in accusing the Democrats of using the word "occupier."
Because, had he done a little more research, he could have accused them of plagiarism too.   Now this!
