BUSH:... "The Iraqi people themselves made this election a resounding success."
And by all accounts I've seen and heard, he's right.  The turnout was high;  the streets did NOT run with blood - at least not by Iraqi standards; and when the votes are counted, Iraq will have its first elected national assembly.
In fact, Ali Fadel, the new Mayor of Baghdad, said he'd like to put up Baghdad's own statue of Liberty - in the image of George W. Bush!   It kind of feels like Happy Days are Here again!  We can start making the argument for bringing the troops home.  
KERRY:... overhype this election."
Senator, what are you talking about.  WHY not?  Americans are ready for the soldiers home.  We're ready for the Michael Jackson trial:

Whoa... Mr. President?  You too?  That almost sounds like we're not coming home right away:

Madame Secretary - not you too!   Somebody didn't take her positive pills this morning.  Of course there are going to be twists and turns, but do we have to be there to see them in person?
