www.daveross.comAbout This Site

www.daveross.com is designed as a quick reference

FOR CHIP TALK LISTENERS

"I heard you mention a link, but I couldn't write it down."   The Chip Talk Links page posts the most recent links mentioned on the air. Chip Talk broadcasts are previews, not evaluations, and the posting of a link does not constitute a recommendation, endorsement, or guarantee.  Corrections of expired or changed links are welcome.

FOR COMPANIES

Chip Talk often highlights smaller companies and web sites that don't otherwise get publicity.  This site provides guidance on the type of story we look for, and a contact point.  Not all submissions can be acknowledged.  To arrange speaking engagements, contact the office.

FOR SEATTLE LISTENERS

We occasionally post reference and news links for topics discussed on "The Dave Ross Show."  For more detailed information, use www.710kiro.com.

TRANSCRIPTS

For companies or PR firms needing copies of broadcasts as aired, we provide audio files for a small fee.  Available formats are 22050 kHz, 16 bit .wav files (~2.5 MB) or MP3 (~1 MB, highest quality).   Specify the subject and date of the broadcast, and provide your address.  You will be billed $10.00 per program copied.  These files may be posted on an internal company web page.  If a program is posted on a public web site or indexed on web-wide search engines, there is an additional public posting fee of $50 per program, subject to change.  You must also attach this notice:  "Used by permission.  Not for re-broadcast or re-posting."

Send your request via e-mail.
Specify "transcript" in the subject heading.
In the body of the message, include date, topic, desired format(s), company name, and billing information.
If your mail server cannot accept large .wav files, the file will be posted to a private URL for download.
